Robots, AI Photobooth, and Deepfakes on tour

Last Friday, our colleagues presented a selection of our AI showcases at the "Tag der KI" in Regensburg. Our humanoid robot G1PO from Unitree was already on air earlier that day, introducing itself in the morning show on Radio Charivari Regensburg. Later, it danced and greeted visitors, while our quadruped Go2 made its rounds through the foyer. On top, guests had the opportunity to experiment with two of our showcases: The AI photobooth turned portraits into personalized photo memories set in fantasy worlds and at the deepfake station, visitors swapped their face for another one in real time.

The event featured around 80 program topics across 11 locations, offering a broad look at the region's AI activities. It was organized by AIR Artificial Intelligence Regensburg together with TechBase Regensburg and further partners.
