Insights from BTD26: Securing confidential AI workloads on untrusted GPUs

At Big Techday 26, Dr. Fabian Roll, Dr. Marcel Lippmann, and Dr. Benjamin Merkel showed how confidential AI workloads can be securely deployed on rented GPU infrastructure.

The speakers showed how Intel Trust Domain Extensions (TDX) and NVIDIA Confidential Computing enable cryptographically verifiable execution environments. They also explained how remote attestation allows TNG to run confidential AI workloads securely on third-party infrastructure. This approach introduces confidential AI applications without requiring trust in the underlying infrastructure.
