A weekend full of Haskell at MuniHac 2026
October 12th, 2026Last weekend, we once again hosted MuniHac, our yearly Haskell community event with hackathon, at our headquarters in Unterföhring. From Friday morning until Sunday evening, more than 80 fans of functional programming from around the world got together for Haskell hacking projects, talks, and learning more about the finer details of this intriguing programming language.
In the keynotes, Manuel Chakravarty, Dominik Schrempf, and Ziyang Liu covered accelerating numeric code, how hs-bindgen translates C headers, and why a good understanding of your compiler can make you a much better functional programmer.
The recordings of these keynotes are now available on YouTube.
Thank you to all participants, contributors, and organizers for making MuniHac 2026 a great success. We look forward to hosting MuniHac again next year.
