DevDays Europe 2026

May 20th, 2026

From May 19th to 22nd, the DevDays Europe 2026 will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania. This international conference is designed by developers for developers. It brings together renowned experts from around the world with the local community to discuss current trends, technologies, and best practices in software development and to drive innovation forward together. Participants will not only gain insights into the latest technological developments, but also benefit from the knowledge and experience of recognized experts from various industry sectors.

Our colleagues will be representing TNG with three exciting talks on May 20th:

  • Áron Erdélyi will give his talk “What the hell is up with MCP?”, shedding light on the development of the Model Context Protocol from its beginnings to its current governance by the Linux Foundation (as of December 2025). The focus will be on analyzing implementation hurdles, unresolved security risks, and the challenge of fragmentation in a rapidly growing ecosystem.

  • At the same time, Jonathan du Mesnil de Rochemont and Lennard Schiefelbein will present their talk “Beyond the Score: Your Guide to Benchmarking LLMs,” which goes beyond pure evaluation scores and offers a practical guide to the informed evaluation of Large Language Models.

  • Furthermore, there will be a presentation by Dennis Schulz and Elias Schecke entitled “Finally Understand Embeddings – And You Will Never Have to Search for the Right Emoji Again,”. Their talk provides a clear and entertaining introduction to the world of embeddings, with practical applications that are also useful in everyday life.
